About the society

Founded in 1975, we aim to educate and entertain with talks and presentations about the local history of Frittenden and the Weald of Kent, together with Kent county history.

Our season runs from October through to April. Meetings take place in Frittenden Memorial Hall and are on the final Tuesday of the month, starting at 8pm. Special exhibition and outings may have different locations and start times, but members are advised accordingly.

We are affiliated to the British Association of Local History and the Kent Archaeological Society.
